I am in the process of setting up my classroom computers so that they can be used effectively by my students.  I’m setting up wiki pages with various resources and had thought that that would be the “homepage” on my classroom computers.  Recently, though, it occurred to me that there were probably some great tools in the iGoogle catalog that would work in my classroom as well.  Here’s what I came up with in about 10 minutes of looking around . . .

I realize that I need to add one of the bookmarking tools so that I can point to the Wiki pages, the school’s home page, and other similar resources but this is a good start, don’t you think?  What I love about iGoogle is that I can set up an account for the classroom and load it onto all the computers.  That way changes are propogated automatically.  That’s a good thing, don’t you think?

So, anyone have any Google tools that they recommend for a 5th grade audience?
