The kids and I have been having fun doodling. It’s one of our choices now during Read-A-Loud time. They love it. Some are really getting into doodling and others are doing more “drawing” or “cartooning” instead of actual doodling. But, it’s all good!
I’ve enjoyed this resurgence of doodling in my own life. Never since college or the invention of the cordless phone have I spent as much time doodling as of late. Staff meetings are fun now — doodle city! And, the funny thing is I listen better when I’m doodling! Amazing.
